Hi --
I'm curious if anyone knows exactly how or why hydrogen boosters work in cars (to increase power and mpg). I've read many stories and seen boosters work in person to increase MPG to 50+ percent, so whether they work or not isn't a question.
If you calculate the joules added to the ICE from the hydrogen/oxygen you are creating (not much) you'll see right away that something else is at play. Could it be steam energy? Or is a little hydrogen gas somehow increasing the burn efficiency of gasoline?
