i have been following kevin wests water for fuel blog for quite some time and have a similar setup that is working for me. i run a modified alternator and pulse generator as well. what i want to know is has anyone done his exact diy and replicated his work? i'm curious to find out what the gas output is like and if the hho generated is as potent, he hasn't used a flow meter in any of his videos. when running a modified alternator the bubbles that leave the tubes are very small but there are alot of them. i am almost done with my new cell case that is bristling with probes and meters to test for all kinds of info. it is definitely a great way to go if you have good working brute force cell and want to take the load off your cars electrical system it also takes less load to drive a modified alternator from what i've seen anyway.. i am about a week away from fitting my setup to a road going car i am not aiming to run on 100% water at all but am curious as to how close i can get and how much i can clean up my emissions.

interesting, I've been checking his blog occasionally. You are the first person I've heard using this system. Is there any way for you to share test output?
On youtube most are using an empty plastic soda bottle to check output levels.
your thoughts...

i use a proper flowgauge is probably accurate to within a few milliliters of gas, basically a hospital grade oxygen measuring device. my old case leaked terribly so have made a fully seamless case and simplified the wiring connections. i just watched the latest water for fuel vid and my similar but less complicated setup seems to use less amps with tap water than his does on spring water. gas flow figures to come.Last edited by hhoexclusive; 09-22-2008, 06:19 AM.

Re: spring water
Hi HHO,
I may not have seen Kevin's latest video, but I thought he was using purified or distilled water. The Meyer method relies upon high voltage and low amps to achieve the desired effect, and spring water is usually fairly high in mineral content. That would cause higher amperage due to the electrolytic effect of the minerals. Running normal tap water is okay, as Meyer stated, as it is much lower in mineral content. Distilled water would be the best, but Meyer said there would be no point in using it because a gallon of distilled water would cost more than a gallon of gas. Of course gas was under a dollar when he said that, so the reasoning no longer applies. I actually use a distiller appliance at home for making my drinking water, and take it with me to my summer cottage so that I can make drinking water from the lake water. The electricity used in making one gallon is well under a dollar.
Best regards,

Hmmmm,
Maybe he has made enough money from his altered alternators and instructional DVD's to take an extended vacation? Or perhaps he's hitting his presidential campaign trail a bit early. What do you folks think?

Hi All
I just happen to read this thread and see the video by Kevin. Seems like a lot of work to get a higher voltage alternator. Certain Denso alternators have bi-filer windings. By connecting them in series, you get double the voltage. No need to rewind the stator. Link Here:
Alternate Power
I have heard that trying to make a permanent magnet rotor has a lot of problems with flux leakage. But, all the infor is there to find the right Denso alternator and how to connect the windings for double voltage.
I don't know if this helps for making hydrogen?
