Working on the calculations i found a way to automatically calculate all the transformer parameters choosing only the inductance and capacitance and series resistance of the capacitor and inductor and it will give you the voltage and recirculating current and output current of the transformer. Everything was check in the simulations and holds true for mostly situations.
I found for example that the transformer must have a transformation factor = 1/2 the Q of the tank circuit to be able to charge it to its maximum potential.
I discovered this just changing values in my simulations and than started to note that i was not able to charge the circuit to the voltage i got from calculations and than i discovered that you must just match the complex impedance of the circuit.
The secondary inductance is easily calculated by reactance formula its reactance must be = to the complex impedance.
I found that wattage of the circuit depends only on applied voltage and the series resistance of the circuit plus the losses on the diodes and transistor.
Meyer used a voltage and current controlled source to tune the impedance too. I used TIP 31, 35 ,2n3055... transistors on the simulations I found 3055 could work but tip 31 was little better.
The primary should be calculated by secondary inductance / (2 pi * transformation factor ^2)
Stanley circuit had 40 Megaohms Of complex impedance and used 40kv 1ma
output transformer So you can already note that you can calculate the secondary inductance from this values But first you need to chose the resonant inductor and capacitor values as to know the frequency of operation obviously than you need to calculate the Q using the series resistance value to calculate the primary of the transformer. .
I would like to know if now anyone didn't understand yet what i'm talking about. Is not clear to me if its so easy and people seems to don't understand.
