  • Dr. Steven Eaton Fuel Cell

    Hi Folks,

    A few days ago Sterling Allen posted a story on Peswiki announcing the release of a Water Fuel Cell by Nuclear Physicist Dr. Steven Eaton that can produce 5 lpm of Browns Gas with less than 200 watts of power using only Distilled Water with no electrolyte and no fancy electronic components just straight dc electrolysis.

    A video on Youtube of an early replication of the cell surfaced overnight reporting amazing results:

    5 Lpm @ 330 watts with 1 gram of electrolyte per gallon of distilled water with water temperature around 91 degrees Fahrenheit.

    Here is a direct link to the plans

    Please God don't let this be another scam !!!

    Regards,

    Will

    Supposing for a minute that this is the real deal, nd the 200% efficiency found in the first replication is true...
    I wonder... What would be the scale of a cell (or cluster of cells) capable of driving a 100kw or better generator which would drive the cell, and still have juice left to power the car it's all mounted on. A decent family car nowadays, has 70-80kW of top power.

    The day this kind of technology is confirmed, we'll come to find that our engines are hopelessly outdated. We're wasting most of the punch from combustion on inefficient internal workings of the engine itself, producting useless heat, and using more fuel per mile. What good is a 200% efficient cell if you have, at best, a 30% efficient car engine? The cell and water (fuel) tank will need to be huge. I hope to be wrong.

    Having seen promising Youtube vids on cells with nickel plates rather than stainless, I wonder if that material might also boost the eat cell to greater heights...

      This isn't a fuel cell; its an electrolyser unit.

        Anyone did make a copy of the youtube movie? It has vanished already...

        Now i start to think it might be true...

              You can't drink the water it uses so therefor it is ultimately bad for the envirenment, so I give this a big thumbs down. From what I have gone over in my thread (http://www.energeticforum.com/renewa...xplained.html), this is just a big waste of time and money. Stanley Meyer's work is now out in the open for all to have, all they have to do is read.

                If it's not your work, it stinks, right?

                If it works as advertized though, it's the best disclosed OU work, ever. Nice if Meyers did it before, he just didn't disclose to the point of any 100%+ efficient replication.
                The distilled vs unfiltered river water is a matter of evolution. Getting 100% efficiency even with pharmaceutical grade distilled water...yet unconfirmed. One step at a time.

                If your work works, props to you, obviously. Doesn't make you a nice web personality though.

                  Hi Cloxxki,

                  As far as an automobile goes your probably correct. There are far more important ways to use this technology than powering a car. Home heating and hot water will save you considerably more if you live in a colder climate like here in Canada.

                  They ran a 3.5kw generator with 6 lpm of Browns Gas. It was generating :

                  * 200 watts for hho generation
                  * 200 watts for light bulbs
                  * 200-300 watts for other uses (bench grinder 120V @ 5 amps bogged generator down)

                  Would running a smaller generator say 2kw with the same amount of Browns Gas, requiring less HP to run the generator itself, be more efficient and make available more power from the generator ?

                  In a perfect world I guess

                  What if you could get 1300 watts usable power from a 2KW generator. One of these setups (if it works as advertised) could run multiple cells and generators daisy chained to provide the home with:

                  * Heat and Hot Water
                  * Distill your own fuel/drinking water
                  * Cook your food
                  * Dry your clothes

                  The possibilities are endless... not to mention the use of cheap servo motors and robotic arms. By that I mean if you have a Browns Gas torch on a computer controlled robotic arm it can multi-task at nighttime when everyone is asleep doing other things like distill water

                      Now have any of you read my thread?

                          Maybe useful for future reference.

                            If I show you a video, then what do you think I am going to tell you next after you have been entertained? Read the thread for you can bring a hourse to water but you can't make him drink.

                              Thanks Will, if you put it like that it's already pretty neat.
                              The generator would be a bit noisy, but could double as heater in our homes, ambient air cooled :-)
                              A bigger cell and generator migt be useful to fill up the electric car's battery pack. Leave the HHO at home. Yeah, I am aware of its limitations.
                              The cars industry NEEDS to be fixed, even if it's providing our atmosphere with only a part of our pollution. It's in-your-face, and will change people's attitudes. Nothing cooler than drinking from your exhaust. So, maybe this prototype isn't useful for that, just yet...
                              In the mean time, I hope all HHO builders get to see the video. The cell doesn't seem that complicated to build. Makes me wonder what the trick of it is. Perhaps in those tubes, the gas doesn't flow along the walls, but down the center? Leaves maximum water contact on the metal.
