            Yeah magnesium metal powder.
            Epsom salts wont work for this particular application. Although it would be interesting to dissolve some in distilled water and apply an underwater HHO torch to it

              An HHO flame will become atomic when it encounters a higher hydrogen content metal or salt or rock or(insert intelligence here)and will therefore flashback infinitely creating enormous heat from a
              small input.

                Just for fun. Here is a picture of a ruby I made with a hho torch. You just take some aluminum oxide powder, mix a small amount of chromium oxide in it and melt this stuff. The powder is green color, but the resultant melted blob is red color. It isn't worth much, but still this is lots of fun

                It's better to wear off by working than to rust by doing nothing.
