Sorry, I ment distilled water - not De Ionized (DI). Why use distilled water vs. plain tap water? Will minerals in tap water contaminate the reactor or other parts of the system?

Also trying to understand the material you recommend to reduce the pH below pH 7. Is it commonly available ($?), and are there any safety or handling issues with the material?

Thanks for the explanation - that is very helpful for understanding the cost to operate the system. From your previous posts, I was thinking you were referring to nitric acid(NHO3) to lower the pH.

Do you need the Cl from the salt? or is this just a helpful element in the process?

Are the plans simple enough for someone like me I have a good mechanicle background but am very limited in chemistry and electronics.
I wonder also if you were to develop a smaller device if you would need machine work I have a small machine shop and am familiar with Stan's injectors.

Scot.. We are ready to go .. wait little time (maximum the end of this year).. commercial policy is changed now people can buy an home low cost kit for produce heated water and green fuel for cooking (NH3/N2O/N2), all in one unit.. next development is for car usage.. Regards

Sorry.. I continue to receive private messages.. at this time I can't share any information on process. Patent office have imposed that for 18 months the invention must be secret and can't be public. I'm currently converting a small generator 1Kw (I don't have a lot of finances for a different system) to power it with this new gas, I'll make a public video where initially will use mains 220Vac after the generator will produce enough energy to power the system and turn on the lamps. Of course you will be sure that I'm not using any flammable gas as LPG or CNG. Regards
