On your profile page, you have BLOCKS. Those are the username, picture, links, quotes, networks, etc... You can click on the title of those blocks and move them around the screen whereever you want them. Some might lock up in internet explorer so use firefox, which is much more stable.
If you click on the X on the blocks in the top right corners, it will delete the block. If you click on the little tool (wrench) looking icon, you can edit them.
If you accidentely delete a block and don't know how to get it back, do this: Under the menu bar where you have Profile | Discussion | Blog, etc...
You have another link that says Profile with a little triangle pointing down.
Just hold the mouse over that profile with the triangle without clicking anything and you'll see a popup menu.
In that menu, you see Page Management options.
The first is Add New Block, click that and you will see a page that comes with and the center column has Default Blocks.
Click on one you want to make appear on your profile page. It will show up in the right column. If you click on the + sign next to the name of the block, that is how to add it to your profile page.
Once added and you get to your profile page, as long as you're logged in, you can grab the title bar of each block and drag them around the page.
In Internet Explorer, it 'could' lock up. Firefox is more stable.
You can do this to add a block fresh if you want even if you didn't accidentely delete a block.
