Photo Problems

Hi I am posting a bit of an e-mail exchange with Aaron (but I still am confused) :

Hi Aaron,

It's taking a little time for me to get used to the technical aspects of this site.

I was trying to upload some pictures to my profile. I see Grace was able to get the water crystal on her main page.

I tried creating a new page which I called photo album but when I then tried to upload an image I got a screne that had this message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: imagecreatefromjpeg() in /home/esmforum/public_html/z/includes/image.class.php on line 249

Are we supposed to be able to upload more photos than the main one on our first profile page?

I might have to delete that photo albulm thing because there is an error. It isn't just you the program is buggy.

adding photos to profile

Hi Jessica,

Being a member of Energetic Forum, you are already in our zoints profile system. We have to wait until a good zoints photo albulm block is available. I'll check to see if anything new has come up. The normal one that came with the system didn't work.

There is one little photo BLOCK I tried before and it worked fine, but the browser will lock up if it is Internet Explorer and you try to drag the block somewhere. Works just fine in Firefox. Not sure about other browsers.

I'm also getting the following message when I try and load my photo into my profile:

I hope Aaron will address these questions in the conference call Thursday if not before.

I finally filled out the "join zoints" info with my same user name and password that I have here.

It gave me a brand new profile with the same user name but none of the info I had on my profile and no links to my posts, e-mails, etc.

HOWEVER the new profile it gave me was way better than what we have and when I tried uploading photos I had no problem.

I'd like to use that profile set up but keep all my existing info.

Ok I was just able to link my zoints profile with the energetic forum one but none of the profile info transfered.
