So, I found this forum, after watching videos on Youtube about 'slayer exciter'.
That whole exciter -thing is new to me, and I have to admit, that I hardly ever get enthusiastic enough, to replicate something, that I've seen on the web.
Seen maybe too much of that 'free energy' -stuff, that leave you finally disappointed.
I know the basic elements, such as resistors, diodes and transistors, and how to use multimeter(almost). I have built several guitar-related devices in the past, designed by others.
I have managed to replicate that very 'slayer exciter' -circuit(at least one of them), using my lacking knowledge of electronics, and results are promising.
Maybe I should re-read that 'Joulethief SEC exciter and variants' -thread again, in its full length, as my circuit's transistor has a(common?) heat problem.
