Just wanted to introduce myself now that my account is finally activated!
I would consider myself the an engineer without a degree, hobbyist engineer if you will. I have built several Bedini SG setups, at the moment I've focused on solid state Bedini circuits and am trying to get the most I can out of it, I would like to try my hand at a capacative discharge circuit for my SS SG but can't get my hands on an SCR or an H1... whatever it is, the photo transistor and have no clue as to how to make it work with regular mosfets and transistors. I wish I knew what types of electronic devices have the SCRs and photo transistors in them, most of my components come from scrapped electronics equipment cause I don't really have the money right now to buy the stuff.
Anyway just wanted to say hey, if anyone knows some alternative parts to use or in what I could find those components in I would greatly appreciate any help!
