          Welcome Sunshine!

          Hi Sunshine,

          Welcome to Energetic Forum!

Please keep the office posted on your experience with sleep. That is the initial indicator of the modules linking up with your subconscious. Also, make sure to take enough spirulina. You can email info @ paths-vx .com if you need to increase the sleep module to a stronger one.

          Take care and welcome again!
          Sincerely,
          Aaron Murakami

            thank you and a question

Thank you all for welcoming me here.

Aaron. I have a question on the sleep that you mentioned.

I've not slept properly in years! I think this is partly because I have sciatica problems that wake me but I'm also really sensitive to noise, vibration etc. so get woken by my neighbours and can't sleep 'til they go to bed . Also at the moment there is this persistent droning, humming noise that I can't trace which is driving me insane!!
Anyway, I've been on my Paths module about 4 or 5 weeks now and I still don't sleep well. I chose the maximum sleep option it gave you. I'm also taking herbal sleeping tablets and painkillers (not a tablet junkie, honest!! - just doing whatever it takes to sleep!!) Does this mean the Paths isn't working properly if I'm not seeing a difference in sleep? I did try to not take the tablets but lying there in pain wasn't much fun so I gave in!!!. Oh yes, and I am taking organic spirulina.
            Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

              Hi Sunshine!!

Please excuse me for being brief, but I am not feeling well. I just wanted to welcome you, and tell you how nice everyone here is.

I replied to your post under "my apology".....no need to respond, just letting you know I didn't not ignore it, just mentioning it in case you haven't seen it.

              Welcome!!

                sleep module

                Hi Sunshine,

There are a few more unadvertised sleep modules that are usually not needed. There are a couple that are stronger than the deep sleep booster that you can select upon signing up. The strongest gets the brainwaves down to 1/2 Hz, which is extremely low delta sleep. If you emailed the office and requested the strongest sleep booster or the next strongest, it can be activated in a day and of course without and extra fees.

Also, getting better sleep may be a challenge until you are able to overcome the sciatica pain and the noise. I'm very sensitive to the noises as well. When falling asleep, I'm aware of a wide range of very subtle noises from low to high frequency. I usually just let myself melt into them when I do notice them but honestly, the deep sleep module helps me sleep very well almost no matter what.

I grew up on and around Air Force bases and can pick up on the engine tests from miles away and these were probably the most common noises that I'm referring to.
                Sincerely,
                Aaron Murakami

                  Welcome!

                  Hi Sunshine!

                  to this wonderful forum!

I see that you have already posted on Grace's CEM thread and that she has begun making corrections for you...you can be sure that she will continue to do so!

I spent most of my life with insomnia, have sciatica and am also very sensative to noise, so I can understand where you are coming from. When I started experiencing the PATHS modules in January of 2007, I experienced VERY rapid results with all of the modules EXCEPT sleep. It took several months before that one kicked in for me, and once it did, it REALLY kicked in! But a few other things that did help were melatonin, regular exercise, (this really helped the sciatica), a "white noise" sound machine that I use at night, a small change in diet that included NO wine with dinner (or any alcohol intake whatsoever), and more vitamin D in any form. Another thing that helped me was establishing a regular bedtime routine... I begin mine by spending about 5 minutes stroking and consciously sending love and light to my dog which she ADORES and then I do some reading with a book light. I have read that using a book light is much better than a bedside lamp if you have any sleep problems. After a chapter or two, I put the book aside to do a meditation and begin that by concentrating on my breathing. This is such a serene experience that I end up falling asleep and now stay asleep for 7-8 hours. And when I do have to get up for a trip to the potty, I fall right back to sleep! You might want to look to the Resource Library here and check out the binaural beat soundtracks also as they are VERY relaxing... one of them enhances the modules and there is even one for enhancing sleep!

I hope this helps along with the great info that Aaron gave you! Once again, Here's a Big Welcome Hug to you Sunshine!!! I wish you much delight as you read and participate in the discussions here!

Oh...One more thing... I LOVE your avatar!!! My Lija looked just like that when she was a puppy!!!

                  With Much Love and Gratitude,

                  Pamela

                    Val, Aaron and Pamela

                    I really appreciate your posts.

                    Val

yes, I can tell that people here are really nice. There's a lovely feel to this forum and it seems positive and supportive which is soooo wonderful . I'm glad I'm here!!

I'm really sorry that you're in so much pain. I can only guess at how awful it must be for you. I have sciatica and various back/neck pain which varies and is partially emotionally linked. Well, probably mostly!! I live with it during the day and am mostly able to ignore it but when it wakes me during the night there's no way I can get back to sleep without pain killers. And I remember once when I had to have a root canal filling and the agonising pain I was in prior to having it done and that was different because it was so much more in my face. You couldn't do anything except just feel the pain. I'm telling you this to say I really feel for you and have just a little inkling of what you must feel. It can be really wearing when it goes on day after day. You must just feel so weary with it all. It can be so exhausting and blots out everything else because it's all you can focus on. All I can say is hope you can hang in there. I think you're fairly new to Paths, like me, and I think we just have to believe that it is working for us below the surface even though we can't see anything yet.
And I just LOVE your photos They're really excellent. You're very talented!!

                    Aaron

Thanks for the advice re sleep. I will send an e'mail to ask for a boost. And I think you may be right about it being a challenge until the noise and pain are sorted!! I've had my house on the market for 5 months now as I can hear everything! from my neighbours. I live in the countryside which I chose because I knew I needed somewhere quiet - which it is! but hadn't realised the walls on each side were so thin!! So I know I need to move. Meanwhile I play a cd to mask the noise which sometimes helps but the humming/vibration is harder.

                    Pamela

Thanks for your welcome. Glad too that you understand where I'm coming from. I find that alone helps. I had a look at the binaural stuff but need to get myself some headphones. Appreciate the other advice and will see if any works for me. I agree on the exercise as I find that gentle walking can ease the sciatica. My biggest challenge is staying asleep as I can sometimes wake up 8 or 9 times. And glad you like my avatar. It reminded me of my two Golden Retrievers who are both gone now but who I had from little pups (so small when I first met them that they fit on my hand!!!) and who were so so lovely.

For pain linked to emotions and trauma

Try the new Trauma module coupled with the Chronic Pain relief module, and maybe Stem Cell and/or Cellular Health. Ho'Oponopono is also a great module for healing emotional pain, as is Unconditional Love - and Gratitude is a good one too.

Before and after my surgery, I had very intense pain. I have to admit that the pain meds worked to a point, but left me feeling worse in other ways after a while, and I turned to more 'natural' pain relief, if you catch my drift. The problem for most is that what I am talking about is illegal in most states, but I was living in CA at the time and was able to obtain it legally. Eight months removed from the operation, I still have (what I consider to be) minor pain (it is all realtive after all) and am not taking anything, only watching PATHS now.

Getting through, and managing, pain is a process - sometimes a slow one. If your pain becomes severe and debilitating, I suggest you go to a doctor (as a last resort) and ask for an MRI to see if there is something more to what meets the eye. I don't want to alarm anyone, or put scary thoughts into anyone's minds, but my Sciatica wasn't Sciatica at all (I have an article in the 'Article section, "Recovering From Surgery," if you care to take a look). But then I have a long history of having bizarre and strange illnesses and diseases! (And hopefully, you don't.)

Something to add to Pamela's bedtime routines: before you fall asleep (or as you do) think clearly on all the wonderful things in your life that you are grateful for. Allow yourself to feel gratitude and love for each of these things in turn. Then do the same when you awake. Make and take the time to do this for yourself (you are worth it!). It is a small thing, but it will keep you focused on the good, rather than the not so good. Then, during the day, don't focus on any negatives - don't watch the news, don't listen to your friends and relatives rant about things they cannot control, and don't get sucked into those rants or negative feelings - instead think about the wonderful and positive things in your life. You will start feeling better emotionally and physically. And when you don't, don't dwell on it - it is just a phase and it will soon pass.

Our minds are amazing - you can use yours to overcome and heal anything! All you have to do is think positively, believe it is possible, and watch PATHS for additional support (and other modalities that make sense to you).

For most of us, this process unfolds one day (sometimes a hour) at a time. If you believe hard enough, you could get instantaneous results - what do you believe and how do you feel? (And don't tell me, 'I feel with my hands.' That's my line. )

                      Cheers!
