Hello. In response to potential food shortages thanks to COVID-19, I have put together a team of people to work on designing an open-source and easy to build high yield hydroponic food growing system(s).
The system we are building is a rotary design (see pics). I need help to find a motor to turn the wheel (possibly a stepper or geared motor), a motor controller and power supply. Ideally, the motor would be 12 VDC and have a power supply that can plug into a standard 110VAC outlet. The wheel that we are turning will weigh between 10-100 pounds depending on usage and will run on rollers so there should not be much resistance.
Can anyone help with this?
