    Hi,

    I am an EE undergrad. I have been experimenting with a log-periodic nested waveguide, where the base of logarithms is 1.61803... the Golden Ratio.

      In Linear Algebra terms:

      The space we live in is a Subspace, or Hyperplane, within a higher-order space with more dimensions.

      It is possible to construct three dimensional shapes which catch or interact with waves in more than three dimensions.

        what interaction do you expect ?
        have any ideas as to what shapes ?

        pretty sure I have seen this idea in practice, so I think you are on to something

          I see you are also a HRO - Have you studied any of Viktor Schauberger's info?

            I have looked into Schauberger a little. I like him. I am most familiar with his method of placing boulders in a river, in the shape of two hyperbolas. This directs the water towards the center of the river, and reduced erosion of the banks. (I used to work as an environmental engineer, wading up creeks with a chainsaw. Bank erosion was a problem we dealt with by planting willows.)

            Can you tell me more about Schauberger's work? Particularly, I am interested in anything having to do with a vortex in water, or things shaped like a hyperbolic horn (Gabriel's Horn).

            The shapes I am experimenting with are: a central tube, surrounded by one or more cylinders. There are some drawings of them at the bottom of my web page. I believe these shapes are related to Bessel Functions, also known as Cylindrical Harmonics. It is a picture, frozen in time, of one of the ways a wave can resonate within a cylindrical cavity (like a woodwind instrument). The position of the rings along the length of the shaft, is analogous to the position of your fingers when fretting a guitar.


            I am hoping to create the correct shape, and excite it with the correct RF waveform, such that a wave which exists in many dimensions can pass into, through, and back out of our space.
