Please help me select a kit to start experimenting with

I am a novice and am hoping to buy a kit (potentialtec.com) in order to start experimenting. I am looking at the "Advanced Bedini Monopole
and Solid State Energizer" on the Potentialtec.com website. I am trying to
decide between the 2 wire and the 3 wire setup. What is the main
difference? What is the advantage of one over the other?
