Just built my first energiser. 800turns 7 filar. working on cap discharger. I used a busted hard drive as a rotor.I had some problems with tuning it and found either a faulty 1k pot or it burnt out. I think I may have found the sweet spot on the unit as I am drawing very little. What I did notice was that with no charge battery connected and the neons flashing, the rpm drops and when I connected the charge battery up the rpm increased. Has anyone experienced this before?
