Thank you for bringing to my attention patent GB191323277A. It took a few readings before I got all the details fixed in my head, but it is quite fascinating and unusual. Seems like something a whiz kid with a 3D printer would be good at fabricating. Or maybe the principles could be adapted to a simpler design. I'm going to add it to my projects list and might get to it later this year. I already have a project that employs horseshoe magnets made up of square neos and iron bars, maybe I can reuse some bits.
