My sister, Queen of Analogies - otherwise known as Blue Silver pointed something out that I thought may be useful for others....
Because of the variety of programming we all have, some of us (many of us?) may have an inbuilt fear of change - Grace has in fact mentioned this before.
The analogy Blue Silver told me is, if you've got this fear of change (unconscious of course), and you're on PATHS, it's like driving with your foot on the brake.
Then you ask PATHS to tweak your module, and they increase the strength - so the accelerator is pushed down harder, but so is the brake. So off you go screeching along the road inch by inch - if at all - with your foot firmly on the brake.
This isn't everyone, and it's not for all modules - there may only be a particular issue (weight for example, which, as we know, is often an attempt at protection - which might mean that a person unconsciously hangs onto it more firmly and tightly at the first signs of "change" like a child with its blue blanket or a kitten on the drapes when you try to save it from plunging six feet to the floor and redecorating your furnishings ).
So... here's the suggestion..... Perhaps PATHS could put into all modules, the Instruction: "I Am Always Completely Safe." - or something like that?
They could perhaps create a "Safe to Change" module, but I think if the instruction "I Am Always Completely Safe" was in every module, it may help to ease that foot off the brake a little
