Believe me, there's much more info on this story out there than the official line, and it's an amazing story. Muslim, Christian, we're all Egyptian! was one chant cried out by crowds in excess of 50,000. Christian protesters forming human shields to protect muslim protesters from riot police while they pray in the middle of protests. I've even seen footage of christians walk into ranks of praying muslims to pick up teargas canisters and throw them back at the police.

Absolutely, stunningly, fantastically beautiful - the Christian Muslim thing. When this happens in sufficient numbers the whole elite/people game will end. The people win.

I'm on it Noises. Ramiroof says it is only the police doing the looting. Of course it b####y is. The army are calling on young people to protect their neighbourhoods from 'looters' - meaning their neighbours. This is an attempt to divide the people protesting and demanding freedom. Anonymous (remember them? digital alqueada or something,) have been at it again.

so there's this company call HBGary, and their stock in trade is industrial espionage. They're what some people call white hats. So called legitimate hackers who provide intrusion and destruction services, for large fees, against the rivals of people who aren't quite so expert at this whole computing thing.

As well as the fact one HBG employee has been bragging about his efforts to identify who he calls key members of anonymous, word got around that HBG might have been involved in the attacks on the wikileaks servers. Now it's a given, whoever perpetrated those attacks will never be prosecuted because it (the cycber attacks against wikileaks that spawned thousands of wikileaks mirrors,) was ordered at the highest levels of government. However, imunity from prosecution does not equal imunity from justice, as the mercenaries at HBG are in the process of finding out. They're also finding out not to mess with anonymous.

Somehow, nobody is quite sure how, someone who shall remain nameless (ie, anonymous,) hacked into HBGary's corporate networks, including their mail server, and played copy pasta with every shred of data they could access before exiting the system just us stealthily as they entered it. In fact, HBGary might not have even known they'd been targeted, if their in-house emails weren't suddenly being published all over the internet, exposing their corporate MO, their exploits, and in many cases evidencing not only federal offenses, but conspiracy to commit the same offenses. Gift wrapped for law enforcement to act on. (ah but will they... ) Other corporations (including BoA and others,) are falling over themselves to distance themselves from HBGary in the fallout of this data dump.

The beautifully ironic thing about it is how HBGary are complaining they've been "illegally hacked" and protesting "the contents of those emails could have been faked." It's ironic because illegally hacking networks, and in some cases, falsifying email records, is exactly the kind of service HBGary have been shown soliciting by these documents!

Talk about getting your just desserts!

Anonymous launches AnonLeaks.ru - Teaser ultimately posting an archive of leaked or stolen corporate emails. At the moment it just contains a few fairly innocuous emails, (including one that's pretty much just a gushing love letter from the president of HBG to one of their inhouse malware writers, author of the first windows NT rootkit (virus that hides itself,) and the focal point of the anon attack, Greg Hoglund.)

If you're interested, the emails that anons leaked via torrents are now being hosted on a website. Nobody arranges this stuff. Nobody pays for it. It's not some secret top down conspiracy, it's people power, and the power of a free and uncensored internet in action. And frankly I love the implications, that nobody, but nobody, not even a company, is above the law or beyond the reach of civil justice any more, and that private citizens with uncommon computer knowledge can act as whistleblowers to keep the most dishonest and self-interested organisations on the planet transparent and accountable, wether they like it or not.

Above is a direct quote lifted from one of the HB Gary project files, developed following a request from Hunton and Williams, a law firm that represents, among others, Bank of America.

Not only does it show a surprising level of ignorance as to preciesily how much support Wikileaks enjoys worldwide, and a pretty sickening but fairly typical parochial view of the imagined importance of US opinion outside the US, the plan quite literally targets journalists and (US citizens) as people who need to be pressured to publish someone else's opinions, and who will crack and withdraw support if enough of this pressure is applied to them. Now, since they're saying they'll happily apply that pressure if the client ( an apparently reputable law firm,) pays them, that makes them guilty as sin of conspiracy to commit blackmail.

My prediction? Exactly no charges will be brought against HB Gary over this and their other crimes, and attempts to pervert the course of justice, and numerous attempts to manipulate the free press. Oh it'll destroy them professionally, at least publicly, but they'll still be lurking around in the undergrowth like the snakes they are ready to jump in and attack any perceived threat. And I'd bet dollars for doorknobs they'll continue to do a roaring trade behind closed doors with alphabet agencies who have tentacles reaching to the very top of the US administration, beyond whoever happens to be the lead puppet in any given 4 year period.

Here's hoping anon keeps them in the digital dark ages til they all die of old age or get productive jobs cleaning the deep fryers at KFC.

this email was picked up while anonymous were in the server network. the reply is allegedly from anonymous, as the original email never made it to it's intended recipient. Since the 10 people the feds were supposed to be arresting were at that time, to coin the phrase, knee deep in the back end of their network.

I've just been looking around, anon has said (but nobody else has reported) that they've actually taken all of the source code for every HPGary security product currently in use and in development. If you know anything about programming, you'd know just what a critical blow to a security consultation and software authoring firm something like that is. It's on par with the army having all their tanks stolen by 10 year old kids armed with cooked spaghetti and strong language. It's a professional embarrassment and a spit in the eye of their claimed competency in their field of digital security, and it means anonymous now have a roadmap that shows them how every HBGary security product works, from the inside out. It takes very little imagination to come up with about a dozen interesting ways that kind of information could be used. One anon calls it "the beginning of the end of the backroom deal."

If the common practice of corruption and dirty tricks in government being farmed out to private firms to distance the administration from it's fallout has a worst nightmare, this is pretty much it. 2011 is really shaping up to be quite a year. Oh there's a rally at Quantico to protest for Bradley Manning's release from solitary this month, if you're interested. Also, the world called, they'd like the name of the pilot and gunner guilty of war crimes under the Geneva Convention, as evidenced by the video PFC Manning obtained and leaked to the people of the world, popularly known as the collateral murder video, as we'd very much like to see these two individuals and their comptrollers on the day the video was (pardon the pun) shot held accountable for the disgraceful, cowardly act of killing an injured person on the battlefield, not to mention firing on children and those rendering aid to wounded. Apparently they said they wanted to see them at trail some time this decade, or something.

What was the superman motto thingy again? Not the one about speeding bullets, the one about Truth, Justice and the something way. Right on the tip of my tongue.... Was it a type of food? A brand of soap powder? Dang it... can't remember. But I think it was important somehow.

Bank of America using Private Intel Firms to Attack Wikileaks
In a document titled "The WikiLeaks Threat" three data intelligence companies, Plantir Technologies, HBGary Federal and Berico Technologies, outline a plan to attack Wikileaks. They are acting upon request from Hunton and Williams, a law firm working for Bank of America. The proposed attacks on WikiLeaks according to the slides include these actions:

* Feed the fuel between the feuding groups. Disinformation. Create messages around actions of sabotage or discredit the opposing organizations. Submit fake documents and then call out the error.

* Create concern over the security of the infrastructure. Create exposure stories. If the process is believed not to be secure they are done.

* Cyber attacks against the infrastructure to get data on document submitters. This would kill the project. Since the servers are now in Sweden and France putting a team together to get access is more straightforward.

* Media campaign to push the radial and reckless nature of WikiLeaks activities. Sustain pressure. Does nothing for the fanatics, but creates concern and doubt among moderates.

* Search for leaks. Use social media to profile and identify risky behavior of employees.

Well, reading those actions, it's very easy to see where the "wikileaks is a jewish conspiracy and anyone who supports them is a zionist plant," arguments come from. A FUD campaign. And to think I was called dishonest and accused of being a zionist by someone on these forums just a couple of weeks ago, while the wikileaks cyber war (that failed dismally,) was in action... Oh the irony.

Well it's easy for me to be magnanimous since the offending member already crawled away in defeat, but it just goes to show just how low these snakes will slither, pretending to be your friends, and to be interested in the same things you're interested in, just to keep tabs on you and feed you disinformation. And then out of the blue, confirmation every tactic I'd seen being played out, and responded to and deconstructed logically, ended up being on the leaked emails on how to deal with the wikileaks "threat."

Did I not also post a few weeks ago we'd find out who was behind the wikileaks attacks because of another leak? Man I thought that would take years to happen, not weeks. Still, reading through HBGary's emails, one thing is becoming increasingly obvious. Utter idiocy and egomania at the top prevents the company from ever being anywhere near as good as what it does as what it would like it's clients to think it is. Their CEO writes like a whining 14 year old, has no grasp on the fundamentals of deductive reasoning and won't take advice from the few talented employees he has when it's offered (or even when it's pushed down his throat.)

I hope the people behind HBGary lose everything they invested, and some. I hope this ruins them, and that somehow, the idea that their suffering is entirely self inflicted and wrought by their dishonesty and complete lack of morality lays heavy on the conscience.

We all have free will. Nobody forces anybody to be a sellout to their human nature, that's a choice. Of the many things an enemy can rob you of, common decency is not one of them. That's something you have to give up yourself. And I believe if any choice should have dire consequences, it's the choice to be an ******* for profit.

Especially right at the end, the statement he gave on the 2nd Feb announcing he claimed to have names of 80% of senior anonymous members. Also the back and forth between the CEO and the developer writing this magical social media analysis software the CEO was so convinced was a brilliant product, even though it was based on false assumption and a myopic misunderstanding of the nature of anonymous, and even of S.O.P. in many important companies pertaining to the use of social media by employees.

Al Jazeera just got on the leaks bandwagon. Not publishing wikileaks leaks, oh no, that would hardly be newsworthy. No, they're actively encouraging people all over the world (including the arab world,) to spring a leak themselves.

To get the ball rolling they've published 1,600 documents lowing open the doors to the backrooms of the Palestinian Authority's ongoing diplomatic efforts to forge peace between Palestine and Israel. The implications are huge, and I mean gigantic. There's hard evidence of dirty trickery from downing street to pensylvania avenue, and all stops between. Even Palestinians themselves are shown negotiating outcomes that are not in the interests of the Palestinian people.

I know there are people here who're very much aware of the role of Israel plays in world politics and current affairs. I know there's people who're convinced I defend them. Well hopefully those people will get their "researching" skills out and start going through these leaks. Here's my challenge, YOU go in there, YOU dig in that pile of data. YOU find the evidence I've already seen glimpses of that could be used to take zionist agitators in governments all over the world before an international court and see them put in gaol for their crimes. Here's the thing. All over the world, people are throwing out corrupt governments. This is the time to get active, and to reshape YOUR country. (the other data I'm busy with? that's me, digging out the rats in and around MY government.) All over the world there's a breakdown of the secrecy that makes corruption possible.
