• Hi, the prototype isn't complete yet but here is my latest video.

    In need of:

    1. Stronger steel frame
    2. Better quality main bearings
    3. A motor that can be easily pulsed.
    4. Thicker steel wheels to act as flywheels
    5. Pulleys
    6. Belts
    7. 12v alternator
    8. Battery / capacitor
    9. 12v - 240v inverter

After this one has been conquered, I'm moving onto a high RPM prototype.

What would be the best type of motor to use to pulse this and easiest triggering method?

I had a 555 timer circuit in mind with variable pulse width and time control.

Any suggestions for improvement please folks?

    Best regards,

    Paul

      • Hi folks, try to visualize the one way bearings in action in this pic.

The wheel rotates clockwise and the weights anticlockwise.

I think Dave has cracked it!

          • Bump!

Any further updates? Has anyone had any luck getting their wheel to do more than being a fancy loom?

Have to admit I use to follow this thread but got distracted with life, I hope someone chimes in. thanks

            • Here is an update on my progress:

              Prototype 5:

This is what I am going to hook up to prototype 5 to make prototype 6:

These are my first basic experiments with a wind / hydro permanent magnet generator (PMG) before fitting to the mechanical torque amplifier that I have built with the help of several engineering companies, mechanical designers, machinists and energy enthusiasts.

I purchased this PMG as I believe it currently is the best off the shelf device to produce safe 12 volt electricity at low RPM.

12 volts is a safe voltage for myself and other interested people to experiment with.

Typically a car alternator doesn't make any electricity without being spun to 1500 rpm - 3000 rpm.

I am going to be fitting the PMG to the device I have built which the inventor claims multiplies the input torque.

I have been experimenting with the inventors technology for 4 years. I believe I have simplified and improved the inventors discovery.

This video is the first in the series of my proof of concept demonstration.

You may be pleased to hear that the technology is open source!

My findings are that the inventor has discovered a mechanical advantage using gravity, inertia and centrifugal force as the environmental inputs to assist in the leverage of an active flywheel.

If you study a wind turbine or any fuel driven engine you will see that the main crankshaft is being levered.

The inventor has discovered a new way to lever the crankshaft using energy sources that do not deplete and require no fuel tank.

I look forward to showing you my next experiments.

Here are my latest pics of some of the new bits I've bought.

              I've gone from 20mm to 30mm bore:

Just got to order my 30mm shaft.

Haven't decided on shaft material yet. I have been recommended to use either SAE 1020 or ideally SAE 4140.

Not decided on belt length either yet until I have a bracket fabricated.

I also have to make a jig to drill new holes for the RHP NSK 30mm bearings.... the holes are bigger and don't line up with the ones I currently have.

I'm going to turn the frame 180 degrees and drill and tap them on the other side.

Also I have found a 65mm twin groove 17mm shaft alternator pulley which will enable a 9.69 : 1 ratio instead of 7.88.

Based on the RPM vs Watts chart that Missouri Wind & Solar provided that should be around 700 watts instead of 500 watts.

              Also, I have located a 6 groove poly v alternator pulley 43mm and a 800mm 6 groove poly v pulley.

This would provide about 1116RPM. Using this PMG I'm guestimating that will provide about 1500 watts and a 18.6 : 1 ratio.

Well whatever the results they are going to be enlightening.

It will be very easy to see how further advancements to the pendulum / lever mechanical advantage device affect the output.

Thankfully I believe I'm not to far away from showing something concrete.

              Any constructive critism welcome.

              Best regards,

              Paul

              • If you watch the prototype 5 video you will see there is an optimum speed where the pendulums do the most leverage.

I am now on the hunt for the final parts of the puzzle. A motor that can be switched on an off easily to come on at the exact moment the pendulum starts to swing.

This is very much like spark timing on a petrol engine.

There is an optimum firing position and duration.

With this device being a 2 cylinder engine two pulses per revolution will be optimum.

Any help with a circuit or motion selection will be greatly appreciated.

I would also like to add that I am adding a charge controller and inverter onto the rectifier pack.

This means I can use a 240v 50hz off the shelf motor to self loop the system.

I also have a 5 position variac type unit.

Any help with a timing circuit or motion selection will be greatly appreciated.

                Regards,

                Paul

                • Here is an update:

Loved using the mag drill what an awesome tool!!!!

The best news is the most power can be tapped by pushing the pendulums at the point when they want to swing.

Best way of doing this yet who knows! Magnets or electromagnet / magnet combination possibly?

I haven't filmed it yet but when I push the pendulums manually it performs outstandingly!!!!

The torque on the mainshaft is unstoppable by hand. I doubt two men could stop it using both hands.

Hopefully dividing it by 8 wont lose too much.

Plan on seeing how many 55 watt bulbs can be driven by hand. This way I can just use the ammeter and voltmeter to work out the wattage.

I literally cannot throw the pendulums fast enough to keep up with how quickly they come back. This method of mechanical advantage seems to provide the highest amplification.

The input is not connected to the output on the same plane or the same timeframe....

                  • The best way is to use off the shelf IR switches as they are cheap and readily available. One example is :
IR Infrared Human Body Sensor Auto Lamps Holder Stand Motion Sensing New Switch | eBay

Then use 2 infra red Leds attached to your device, powered by a small battery.

A bit of calibration using a plastic pipe to get the sensor to see only the infra red leds and you're home.

I've been telling people for a long time that pulleys, levers, pendulums etc. are over unity devices. Otherwise Tesla's earthquake machine could not work.

                    Good luck.

There is definitely something special about levers without a doubt!

If you look at any combustion engine it uses leverage.

If you look at wind turbines they use leverage.

Solar panels are a one way valve to turning light and heat into electricity.

Mikhail's device is a one way valve to turning gravity and inertia into electricity.

                      Leverage is king!

                      • Here is an update:

I got some 50mm steel angle from work and fabricated some rough brackets up today.

I didn't have time to fix the brackets or plate to the frame so I clamped and weighted it just to see what would happen.

In these videos I am powering 2 x 55 watt headlight bulbs.

I was turning the main shaft with a spanner that is about 12" long.

I could barely even get the filaments to light up with a 12" ratchet and socket directly connected onto the shaft of the PMG.

The voltage was unregulated and I blew one of the bulbs.

Of course the mechanical advantage can be increased to whatever is needed.

I've just worked out that I could fit a full scale replication of Mikhail's prototype 11 within the frame and keep the PMG where it is.

Mikhail was also using a 8:1 ratio.

Chain and sprockets have much less friction than the wedge belt and pulleys I've used.

At least I know the kicker wheel isn't needed thanks to Mikhail's experiments.

I'm broke now so going to have a think about where to go with this next.

                        Any feedback welcome.

                        Thanks,

                        Paul

                        • I think what I should have tried instead of an inductive load is the charge controller, a capacitor bank, the inverter and a load.

I also realise I opted for the highest friction drive mechanism possible.

I did a bit of research it seems that this is the order of efficiency.

                          1. Chain
                          2. Timing Belt
                          3. Poly V
                          4. V / Wedge Belt

Chain or belt drive: which is faster? - BikeRadar

Now I realise why Mikhail opted for chain drive.

                          I've located a 95 tooth sprocket and a 13 tooth sprocket so 7.3 : 1

Just need to find the taper lock bushes and chain now....

At least I know I have tested the worst option and what the results were!

I really wish I could find a motor I could briefly switch on for a second to see if the device can power itself rather than a constant current sucking inductive bulb load.

                          That's all for now.....

                          Thanks,

                          Paul

                          • I have 4 x 22000mfd 15v capacitors.

Using a capacitor bank does the drive see the load?

                            • I am leaning towards a 30w - 40w 12v window wiper motor perhaps, to be pulsed to prove the device can sustain itself.

                              • Hi folks, thank you for following the thread so far.

I have a few things I'd like to discuss.

When I first started the group replication I was kindly sent some money from a few interested members of the forum to begin a replication of Mikhail's prototype 11, which appears to display far more energy out than in.

At that time I had no idea of the full scale replication cost and also had no workshop space to build a full scale replication.

Since I have been building prototypes, I have an engineering company working with me at cost and also a fabricator lending me workshop space, tools and equipment for free.

As I couldn't afford a full scale replication myself and the amount of funds donated towards the replication were small, I started with a 1/3 scale replication.

One of the variables I changed and discovered more torque was having longer pendulums.

I now realise that having full length pendulums reduces the maximum RPM, which isn't great when we are running low RPM's anyway.

I also realise that if the wheel was the same size diameter as Mikhail's prototype 11 and had a series of long pendulums with 32 weight ganged in sets of 4, each of them offset. The device would have far more input vs output than Mikhail's prototype 11.

However, this would require a very large frame to accommodate the device.

Therefore it would be more beneficial to have 32 weights and then another 32 weights offset in another gang for a higher output prototype.

Mikhail did describe this years ago is his old website, which is no longer online.

I now have a frame that is slightly bigger than Mikhail's and definitely stronger as Mikhail used 30mm x 30mm steel box section and I am using 50m x 50mm steel box section.

Mikhail also used a 26mm main shaft and I am using a 30mm EN19 high tensile steel main shaft.

Hopefully I have proved to the readers of this thread that I have the necessary skills, contacts and time to complete this replication to prove once and for all if the technology is viable.

I have spent a few thousand pounds of my own money to get this far.

It would be great if everyone reading this thread donated a small amount to my PayPal address so collectively we can all see if this technology is real.

I am happy to keep accounts of all monies and what it is being spent on.

                                [email protected]

I will ensure that this replication is completed using an input permanent magnet motor and an output permanent magnet generator.

I will also use accurate measuring equipment, make detailed videos, pictures and supply CAD drawings for all the parts if the replication proves Mikhail's work is genuine.

I could have completed the prototype a long time ago with proper financial backing.

I do not believe anyone should own this technology. It belongs to the people of the world.

Of course, Mikhail should get the credit.

                                Many thanks,

                                Paul
