this thread started as a pretty straight forward thread on how to get real free energy out there. (follow them through "first person" and you will likely figure out what one works the best pretty fast)
yet it has dissolved into various personal attacks and other topics...
could be just me, but I see 2 possibilities here,
first is that humans are just not ready for free energy,
and the other is that there are some people that don't want free energy to ever get out there.
reminds me of what ingo swann said about the powers of the mind, it is just that the topic changed.

I am sorry you think I could possibly be another persona of Big Mouth. I think you need to reread my posts. I have never posted anything that would support any the foolishness that clown has posted. I am opposed to anything he stands for. He has probably chased off more serious researchers than anyone else that has ever been on this forum. Please reconsider your assessment of me.

These are my thoughts, and you can take them or leave them.

We have seen that patenting does not work with the national security letters sent etc. We have seen that trying to go to market while clutching the invention like golum doesn't work.

That only leaves open source group sharing. We have seen that all it takes to disrupt that process is to insert some character who is difficult to deal with and we tear each other apart. There is no way we can work together when we are busy ripping the other guys throughts out (and apparently the occasional gal's too).

Now whether BM is here puposely to distract, disrupt, dilute, degrade, deny or defame, should not be an issue. We know that there are organised efforts to prevent alternative energy systems from being developed. If you are waiting for a clean forum with no opposition before we can work together, you will be waiting a very long time. After all, if there are differences in personality, communication styles, motivations, hair color (or for that matter any hair at all) we need to find a way to work with or around those and still maintain a cohesive group.

I think to achieve the goal, a very strict and concerted effort to concentrate and maintain focus on the topic at hand is critical especially when we see that it is so easy to be distracted. Yet by being very strict, it stiffles participation, and creativity.

So, I see the problem, but the solution is not so easy to see. The forum as it is set up now, does not make it very easy to keep a clean topic.

Just my thoughts, anyone else see a way around this?

Solutions

There are solutions to the problem. You can invite folks to a PRIVATE forum. There are ways to do that, and we have done it in the past. But that leaves out a LOT of folks who might genuinely be interested or might have something constructive to contribute. Matt hosted a bunch of us for a while on HIS servers while we worked on a specific project when the noise here got just too loud. We could do it again.

Another way to do it is to talk to administrators and set it up so that everyone can VIEW a thread but only those approved can make comments on it. New people would have to PM administration or someone else to get rights to post. THAT is a big pain in the ass and administration understandably doesn't want to take the time to mess with that, so not the best solution.

A third solution is to BEGIN a thread with a list of RULES that WILL be followed on that thread. Whenever someone NEW jumps aboard, say on page 50, they are immediately referred back to post number one BY THE MEMBERS OF THE THREAD and asked to indicate that they have read post #1 before posting again. That way everyone gets one free shot at being an idiot before they are added to the ignore list. Post number one also includes the statement that "The following people are considered to be detrimental to the progress in this thread. Please do not respond to them and please add them to your "ignore" list. If you do not do this, the thread will become filled with clutter and garbage that will detract from the positive direction of the thread." It also indicates that if you do NOT follow the rules, your name will be added to the list.

Then give instructions on how to add someone to the ignore list. The list in post #1 can be constantly updated and the individual who started the thread can receive the PM's from folks who would like a second chance and agree to follow the rules. He could send a PM out, or make a general post that a specific individual is to be taken OFF the ignore list. In my personal opinion, it should be a heck of a lot harder to get OFF the list than it was to get ON the list. The list also lets everyone know right away who the trouble makers are, and they will eventually disappear from lack of attention. The "Ignore List" or "Idiot List" or IT becomes what controls the nonsense on the thread.

Nobody has tried something like this so far as I know. The problem with open forums is you can say anything you want. You can call names, insult people, use bad language run your mouth off for hours (like I'm doing right now) and there is no one to police you. There is NO WAY an admin has the time to read every post on every thread. Just like in the REAL world community, we have to take the responsibility for taking care of our OWN garbage. If you want something done right, do it yourself.

Does this sound like plan? If everyone on the different threads starts doing this, I PROMISE you things would change. It might take a little time, but it would happen. Then I believe the FAIR thing to do is give EVERYONE a chance. We start with a clean slate. That way there can be no complaints that we were unfair to anyone. Everyone gets their shot at being a contributing member, or NOT. So the ignore list has NO NAMES on it to begin with. Believe me, there are some names I would personally like to see there from day one, as I have been attacked and called names more than once on this forum, but in the interest of fairness, I think everyone deserves a chance.

Now, I am smart enough to know that there are ways to "game" this system too,, and that's when you involve admin checking IP addresses.

Throughout all that time there were the interrupters on here and many put them on ignore, but I have always felt that any information, whether genuine or false needed to be considered, therefore I never ignored anyone. There are many on here that I disagree with on certain things, mostly trivial, but I look at this forum as I do life, it is learning everyday form others. I have, over the years revealed some of my designs and inventions and posted them on here, but not all. I feel time may be short for the internet and free information sharing so I save the things I feel are important to my future and possibly others. It uses up a lot of space and takes lots of time. Free energy is already available with solar, wind and water, but most require substantial investments to build or purchase the materials to get started. For the DIY people here, many sites are available to build a wind turbine on a budget to get you started. Everyone needs to start somewhere and this is a good way to get started. Good Luck. stealth

Well we are really the only ones left and you don't pop in enough. I just want to consolidate information. Endless pages of babble and mystical theory with links doesn't seem to get the job done.

I would love to open source a few simple things to get people started and its not the person who would tell me I'm faking it or trying to tell me how they could do better, you know the typical goofball, that bothers me. Its this endless babble of nothing that poors out from several individuals. Comparing things to you tube videos that are fake. The constant comparative to people like Bedini and Tesla. That crap will make ya slap your mother.

Its hard to keep things on topic when thread are defaced by this crap. I see no value in it or its authors.

I just wish more than anything I could find something to learn from that I did not come up with myself. I really wish people on this forum would start building again. Anything!!!

Yeah, we are old school I guess when it comes to those who are left of the original members. I used to be more involved back then and offered more views and congratulations when someone came up with new refreshing ideas. Since I retired I haven't had as much time to contribute, isn't that an irony. Also I have slowed down and don't have the energy or stamina I used to have. I still am interested, but as you say, I don't get involved with all the drama and try to stay clear of most of it. I generally just skip over, scroll down across any posts I don't want to read. I don't look at all those fake videos either. Mostly what's on you tube is fake. I have seen a few legitimate ones on there, but they don't seem to last very long. It seems that they are closely monitored. Of those, many I never got to download and were lost. I have found that there are many ways to get free energy(extra energy) from the environment, as you have. Mostly it is just an engineering problem. I will, when time allows, release some more of what I have discovered or found hidden that may help some to reach their potential. Good Luck. stealth
