"Easy Action" Letter = YES!

Hiya Ash, Good to see you made it m8 Panacea will of course be a major resource for this work and your expertise will be invaluable!

And Aaron is right, that what they call an "easy action" letter page needs to be set up so peeps can just put in their name, email addy, home address, and phone then click "send" (there is also a section where they can modify or add to the letter text if they wish). At the same time, they can be directed to the Petition. There is something a little like that on Op Ed News that will automatically find their US Congresspeople for them via Zip code and sent it, but it doesn't have the ability to have the pre-written letter text or petition in it. Plus, as Bodkins so aptly pointed out this needs to be an International effort.

From Lori at Dandelion Salad (http://dandelionsalad.wordpress.com), a great political blog and alternative news site where all my F-E articles were also published, i have been getting some good advice for this (lol she noticed i don't know much about the "how-to's" and wants to help; she know a lot about grass roots campaigning and is a big supporter of F-E). She gave me the names of 2 sites to check out:

"Petionsonline" and "Care2 website"

which may allow us to do this (i'll be looking at them today). She also told me it is important that the "action letter" be "short and sweet", as short as possible to get the points across. So we need a new one. I will invite her here to comment further if she's got the time

Would a new site / page for all this be a good idea (with strong links to here, Panacea and others like Orion)? Basically all the new page or site would be is the spot to send them via link from anywhere else on the web, then get the peep's info for the letters and petitions (..and for a secure database mailing list for further actions).

Ash: Does Panacea and Orion have a working relationship of some sort now? It might be useful to combine forces on this "action page" (just an idea, we can discuss it). Lol they usually don't reply to my emails there, cause i'm always bugging them for info on their F-E devices and the status of the Meyer buggy & other gear

And THX to all who give us their opinions here. If anyone has ideas, observations, or some experience with this type of thing, now its the time to chime in! We are talking about doing something here that could eventually change our world, and it belongs to all of us.... This will be a good one to tell the Grandkids some day

And i think as we we journey to new places here, like Aaron said, we will find we have many friends who want to help: Mainstream scientists, private sector engineers, activists, maybe even celebrities

I found the fax submittal at the Orion project site very easy to use, and quickly sent faxes to my Representatives, Senators, and to President Obama. The fax document has already been prepared by Orion, but I would strongly advise that each sender replace the beginning paragraph with something personally written by the sender. As it stands, the first paragraph reads, "I have important news about the economic, energy and environmental crises. Solutions do exist, but the solutions have been ignored by Washington." I altered this to read as follows:

"I am sure you would agree that if a means existed whereby we could effectively distribute clean, renewable, inexhaustible, free, or near free energy devices throughout America, this would be a solution not only to our future energy needs, but would also have a profound beneficial effect regarding economic and environmental concerns.

I want to make you aware that the means to accomplish the above already exists, but the solutions have been ignored by Washington. Please take the time to read through this correspondence, and to take immediate appropriate action to bring about the necessary changes that are outlined. If the suggested plan of action is initiated without delay, it will quickly reverse the course of economic and environmental degradation that our country - and the world in general - is now facing. After reading this, please advise me as to your thoughts regarding the proposal, and of any actions that you propose to take in an effort to carry this project forward."

Please feel free to use my opening paragraphs, or to reword them as you see fit, when sending your faxes. The fax document is prepared well, and points the reader towards the pdf document at http://www.theorionproject.org/Energy.pdf which outlines several existing renewable energy technologies, as well as as an action plan for implementing rapid development and distribution of the devices. The plan is very well written, and it is supported by well known and respected scientists, engineers, inventors, renewable energy groups, and environmental activists.

I think that even if we develop a separate fax and informational portal that aims at promoting additional technologies, we should at least get behind the Orion Project's effort. The more who stand behind this, and speak in unison, the greater the chance that we can succeed.

How are those being handled and how are they being sent?

The online campaign by Craig Winters for GMO foods labeling requirements, etc... had the largest turnout for petition signers than anything since the Viet Nam War protests. It was all done online so these things work if done carefully.

Aaron,these are really only a START for publicity and can be sent off to get create more public pressure, we collect them and can send them off to the government or who ever needs them are always open to suggestion . I found out that a petition in Australia is only a REQUEST for a politician to act, if he refuses he then either risks loosing confidence in the next election but legally does not have to follow the request!.

Eventually we will be sending a confirm email to all the people who signed up for an individual referendum number, in a monarchy they LEGALLY have to act then. People wont mind sending /singing a confirm one when we change it. Petitions can still do good tho, as its creates public pressure, i am just finding out how you can take it to the next level with signatures ATM. Gonna go talk to some poly ticks about how to, SAWRY meant politicians

@Jib -Hey M8, yup i have spoken to Ted loder in person (second in charge of the Orion and disclosure) and he knows about he Meyers work we do, as soon as we have some thing working and significant there will be an over night working relationship Mean time i think every one trying to get an R and D center publicly funded should join forces and work together more efficiently, gonna bug them about that also . also every one should help with signatures so we are too, just like exo politics.

People should also realize when they are sending a request for energy , its the same energy in the back engineered recovered craft, so really it should be in line with the disclosure project, they are trying to do the same thing, same as EXO- politics, all those groups should help ONE mass signature/Orion's ones. Thx for the link rickoff. But unless i am missing a link or page, Orion could also use an "easy action" sign up page with a short letter. Hmmm...

May i suggest something here that could deflect the human nature "territorial" issues often seen in these cases (i don't think these overly worry Aaron or Ash, but it may be an issue with others):

A coalition of sites with one centralized page for grass roots activism. The brief "easy action" letter sign-up would be here, and all sites in the coalition would link to it, and of course there would be outgoing links on the page to all the member sites. This tactic is used in many online genres, like gaming, hobbies, fansites... Anywhere there are several similar-interest sites. The central site does not favor any member site, and acts as a general promotion for the shared interest. Hopefully Stefan and the smaller sites would be willing to participate in such a venture too... One would think it would be in everyone's interest to do so.

The biggest issue with such a site would of course be the control and handling of the sign-up names list (DB). This needs to be ironed out. It could be either 1) All members share it 2) it is kept in "Trust" and only for use with future actions of the site; or 3) something else someone here suggests

Such lists are a valuable commodity. Regarding the "security" of such a DB: As far as the "MIB" go, forget it.. If they exist at all, they will get it (legally or illegally), there is nothing we can do about it. But the concern is to handle it ethically (as we all here want), and make sure no commercial or unethical entities get their hands on it. Nothing will piss-off a prospective contributer more than getting junk mail from an easy-action site.

On an unrelated subject: One great way to "get the word out" would be to create and mass-copy CDROM's and hand them out to Truckers. this group would be interested in free energy naturally (since the Independents suffered worst of all from last year's oil prices), and such CD's could be distributed all over the country in a short time. The CDROM would have all the "best" You-Tubes and other vids on it, as well as PDF's and other doc's with concepts, explanations, instructions, and schematics. And of course links. It will also act as an "insurance policy" to preserve this info should the internet ever go dark.

We could post a mirror of a suggested CDROM for peeps to use as the model to copy and hand out. This idea of using truckers to distribute CD's was not mine, a good friend who was a trucker came up with it last year.

Think about it, solar and wind fields will still charge everyone for electricity, even thermo and wave energy systems will still have you pay for grid power. The time to break for energy independence is now.

@h2o: It is very nice work; and i would agree with your thesis. Unfortunately there are way more theories floating around about Meyer than successful replications Hopefully as it becomes better understood this will change soon

Which brings up another question; as Golden Mean, Bodkins and others have suggested, should we pick and build a device that can be easily replicated en masse so that there are dozens or even hundreds of them of the same design(its a great idea imo, and could get us at least local news stories)? Which device is the obvious question lol.

Peering into the future.

I beg to differ,
In all of my engineering classes every time we got a project with a set of rules to follow at the end of the time frame given we would have fully working projects to about 95%, yet be completely different from one anothers. That is how I set up how Stanely Meyer technology works with a set of rule for the projects of the masses. What we should expect to see if the 95% rule holds are many different virsions of Stanley Meyer's work, and almost all of them working.
I tell you this, mine doesn't work like Stanley Meyer does, for I have made enough changes to make a different patent. But why on earth would I do something like that, for the patent expired back in June 26, 2007, I think, making it public domain. So, that is what I did, set up a set of rules for the project and let everyone have it to come up with many different designs as possible. I did it this way to bring a true end to energy enslavement, by creating not just one type of working model they can block by many types of working models so the technology has a fighting chance. I hope everyone can see the wisdom in that.

2. If that doesn't work, lets continue BEGGING the same people at least to sell us the energy they are producing with free energy devices. But wait, what was the definition of free energy again?

What free energy devices besides solar wind and hydro are you refering too? Who's making free energy? The above devices are a big investment if you have never priced them. I myself am willing to pay for the energy from those devices or make the investment.
Coal, oil and nuclear are deseased. I am not willing to pay for them much longer. Are you?

No one is begging.

If women had not made their voices heard, they would still be making 40% less money than men for the same jobs with no hope of ever getting promoted. They would have had no rights to property, or to vote even for that matter. To say women "begged" for these rights could be taken as an insult to the hard work of thousands, over many decades... My Grandmother was one of them; and she would come down on you like a ton of bricks if she heard that (she had a mean ear tug )

I don't think that was your intention, i just thought i would show it from a different perspective.

And im not begging any of you either: If you believe in these principles, if you think there is no viable reason these technologies are not being properly studied in the mainstream, then there is a chance to say so.
