  • Self Oscillating Magnet Coill Gain and Feedback.

    I'm starting this new thread after stumbling across a power generating self oscillating effect in my magnet rotor alternator from "The single magnet no bearing Bedini thread". I plan to loop the feedback into tickler coils at the ends of the cores to exite the oscillation and output of the magnet coil.

    a.c. ticklers.

    I'm picking up over here on the self oscillating magnet coil. I disconected and reconected the bifilar and a charge slowly begin to rise in the coil. I plan to try and run milli watts of a.c. power into wire loop tickler coils at each end. I plan to use a wall adaptor and lighting rheostat. This should excite the oscillation. Floyd Sweet got millions of times the output from tiny increments of power used just in this way. Very easy to overheat those coils, but it's the polarity reversal that does the trick.

        Self oscillator.

        @TanTric,

        I fashioned a new kind of permanet magnet alternator with a 1 & 1/4 inch PVC coupling for a core, and a 3/4 inch diametricly polarized neo tube mounted centraly on a carbon rod axel. I built walls from cardboard and had it machine wraped bifilarly with 435 feet of 26 gauge magnet wire. When I tried to power the magnet from the coil with a hi voltage Tesla conection, beginning of one to the end of the other, the magnet froze. I reconected the wrap, and I watching the power climb in a capacitor while it's standing still here right now! I don't think it's too important how much power is being generated, I think the important thing is the "Transaction". There is a conduit established in this wire coil wraped magnet. Now I think it might yield even more output upon excitation. Without this exchange in field oscillation and coil output, any further attempts to get power from it would be sure to prove fruitless. I plan to try and run a very tiny amount of a.c. current through two wire loops at each end in-phase, to see if there's an increase in power out.

          Tickler coils.

          I just wraped two 26 gauge CW/CCW tickler loops few hundred wraps, wedged them in the PVC air core with the magnet axel, and wired them in series like Lidmotor's capacitor job with two Shack spools. The twin ticklers are generating voltage too! I think I will try and motor it with these coils now. These mirror coils definitely start filling the 100 mf capacitor just like the outer wrap. The Two Shack coil experiment might work. I think I'll try that next.

            Output.

            I am getting four hundreds of a volt from a 28 gauge bifilar from two green spools of wired wraped on a taller plastic spool, old RS type with a 3/4 inch
            tube wedged in the core.

              Super cap.

              I'm charging a 4700 mf 50 volt capacitor with four 3/4 inch diametric neos in the core of a Rick fredrick bifilar. This nearly fifty times the size as the 100, and it's building voltage at a steady pace. Capacitor charge curves start out and finsh slow time wise.

              My next step is to move the tickler coils over and beneath the new 4 mag coil M.E.G, and run A.C. from the my rotating magnet alternator. I describe this over on the "Single magnet Bedini thread". I plan to run the a.c. output through a laptop transformer and run 15 volts a.c. through the tickler loops. Floyd Sweet conditioned his magnets with 60 hz a.c., alot easier to regulate the hz by controling the speed of an alternator rotor, then to condition magnets to accept wall current.

                  Picture.

                  @CosmicFarmer,

                  I tested the output from my prototype alternator, this one is simply a plumber tape spool with a 3/4" N42 diametric tube magnet with a simple 26 gauge single wrap end to end coil. The stand still output is higher then any of my other test designs. I couldn't motor the magnet in my PVC core because I think the lips were over and not alongside as in the plumber spool which has less height. I think there is a power axis that runs on the perpendicular. Your top picture has the correct position of the magnet, but the tickler coils would be placed under and over, not both on one end. I see you have them CW/CCW in series for an in phase pulse. That's correct. One positive the other negative placed at the opposing poles of the electro magnetic coil. Only a very tiny amount of a.c. current is all it takes to get a reinforced oscillation. I think it would pay to move to lower profile proportion. Shorter and wider, with one oppositly wound exciter at each end. I'll post photgraphs Monday afternoon.

                    VTA hybrid.

                    Three plumber's spools, one on top of the other. The middle one wraped all the way with the hi speed bearing magnet rotor inside, and the top and bottem, part way. The top and bottem are wired in series CW/CCW. They can serve as V.T.C. a.c. ticklers, output or motor coils.

                    Here's a better idea: One plumber spool in the middle and two radio shack stock magnet wire coils on either end. their core diameter fits fine around the exposed section of the rotor. It would make it easy to strip wire from the two spools and invert one of the ticklers, then wind the plumber spool coil full.

                      Oscillator.

                      I hooked a laptop 120v ac to 15v ac transformer up through a light rheostat to a 28 gauge two green magnet wire spool biflar wired in series, to try and tickle the magnet inside, and the magnet began to thump. Now I have the plumber teflon tape spool alternator spinning at 60 r.p.m. The tiny alternator is charging the super cap like crazy, up to 5 volts in about 3 minutes. The coil is pulsing powerfully at 1 hz, and running cool. Must have something to do with the wave form? Maybe someone can help explain why it's thumping at 1 hz? It projected a stack of smaller neos right out onto the floor. I tired it on another bifilar and got nothing.

                        Interesting, that the oscillator is spinning so slow... 60hz you would think it would go much faster. All I can think is that the 15v pulse isnt strong enough to push it all the way around and it needs more then 1 alternation to get it to rotate.

                        I remember you saying that if there was no magnet, then there was no power generation, which would throw out the conditioned capacitor effect... right? But all I can think of is how well inductive collapses can condition a capacitor. Please make sure this isn't happening.

                        To tickle the magnet I think you might need a frequency generator or something where you can adjust the frequency output and find the resonant or ticklish point of the magnet. I believe 60hz is too slow. Didn't you say earlier your setup was going naturally at 1.59 Khz?

                        Please try making another device that creates the power, and use that second device's output to tickle the first one's tickler coils. then use the output of the first device to tickle the second's tickler coils, like 2 friends scratching each other's back. Then to see if its working make a loop for a O-scope probe and let it sit in between the two devices.

                        Either nothing will happen, or resonance will build up to a certain level and drop off, or you will have a runaway condition.

                        Anyway, good work, keep on plugging away.

                          Thanks for your input. You're right. I plan to test power the ticklers with the charge current from an "Imhotep" style Bedini fan, with a speed control potentiometer.

                            Fan Tickler.

                            No results from the Bedini Fan tickler experiments. The fan generates 7 or 8 volts. You know it's working when it's hooked up to these magnet coils. They rattle and vibrate from the twin tiicklers, but no sign of any induced voltage. 1 volt ac is the most it reads, which is way less power then I'm feeding into the exciter circuit.

                              I am still curious for some Pictures what you are doing there,
                              but without Drawings or something else, it is really hard to figure,
                              what you really do.
                              Theorizer are like High Voltage. A lot hot Air with no Power behind but they are the dead of applied Work and Ideas.
