I'm pretty positive Don that there was some hydrogen. I did not confirm it but I would believe its a given with this type of device.

What voltage did you use?

The water temp increased from 68F to 78-80F after the 30 mins.

Periodically I would stop and position it on its hanger to check tuning. Interesting, as I removed material ringing frequency dropped.

In this case I removed material from the sides, the length stayed the same. I think a lot has to do with the low grade of SS and hot spots that distorted the cups in area's.

As for tuning I have an identical rod set up that is the same as the device. They both hold the cup at the same tension.

I have some 1 1/4" and 1 1/2" thin brass tubes that I may use. Brass is much easier to work with. I can modify the tubes as in the original Davey patent to mount on the device. I also have a tube expander that will allow for custom outer buffer bowls.

be heard by most people.

I have been very busy of late but I've kept my mind on the project. At this time I have abandoned the SS cups in favor of copper tubes. Copper has better benefits when tuning/shaping is taken into consideration. Also I have some reservations about using straight line(main) voltage. There is one issue in the US here, our neutral is really a ground. The neutral wire on power outlets are connected to ground in the electrical panel. This doesn't really give us a true negative voltage that I believe we really need.

One new technique I will be adding is a 1:1 isolation transformer. This gives me a 'true' oscillating voltage with both side changing between positive and negative voltage. This gives me a 'floating' neutral much like it was in the old days before power companies changed the street transformers from 'delta' to 'wye' configuration.

When I do this another interesting view comes to mind. The electrodes and the isolation xfr create a tank circuit. Yet another important view may be in creating a resonant electric circuit with the the electrodes and xfr. Here we now have acoustic resonance and electric resonance. The outcome of such a circuit? don't know. But this is the direction I am moving in.

So the new device will incorporate acoustic and electrical resonance. The first electrode will be sized for 1/4 wave. The second electrode will be set to produce a standing in the higher octave range (1/2 wave) All together the 1/4 wave, 1/2 standing wave will be octaves of the fundamental wave.

One quick note on the generation 1 device. I played with it and made visual notes. I hooked the device up to an independent outlet (30Amp) I have for my MIG welder. I purposely allowed the device to draw hi-amps. I noticed that the higher amps didn't generate as much steam as the lower amps did. It appears visually that amps are counter productive and only add a small amount to heating the water. This may have to do with the volume of water touching the plates. I did allow the system to run at 21 amps for over 40 seconds. Almost no steam was created.

Anyway that my new direction. Will post again when items are built.

Sonic mechanical resonance

Could this be used to tune resonance for Davey's heater ? Has anyone looked into this ?

I see the Davey heater as two concentric spheres whose cavity passes
AC back and forth through the water.

I see the LENR as a having a semipermeable membrane that congests the flow of hydrogen that are inclined to pass because of a pulse. A % population
of H2 is allowed to ionize beyond D2 hyperfine where transmutation is possible under the right conditions.

The finely divided nickel and palladium is related to cold fusion which raised questions in those with open minds that there is hope and it is evident that
the continued study gives rise to historical significance of early cold fusion.

Yes. This is reported. Eight times, if I recall. But the effectiveness
depends on the accuracy with which the bells are tuned to an octave
of the mains frequency, usually either 50hz or 60hz.

Small bells will be 400hz in the UK (approx three frets up the thinnest
string on a guitar) or 48hz in the USA (halfway between the fourth
and fifth frets)
