FLEET is NOT a conventional transformer circuit!!!

From what I understand, the circuit is a transformer with primary and secondary. Primary is the input, secondary is the output. Suppose the typical formula for transformer is like this

IV = iv for IV is primary side iv is secondary

Conventionally if the voltage is double on the secondary, the current is halved. You claimed that the IV = iv relationship does not hold? Meaning

IV (primary)= .5I * 2.3V (secondary) for example

Am I correct?

FLEET is NOT a traditional transformer circuit. It is a Pulsing LCR circuit from the basic Joule Thief acting as the primary. It has an LCR circuit in the secondary to be tuned to sympathetic vibration. Some historic information may help:

The theory behind the Hidro invented by James Kwok

Ashtweth brought my attention to the working invention by James Kwok called Hidro. The brief description is as follows:

Hidro is a new discovery which can advance education. The technology parallels that of a submarine, which uses buoyancy, gravity, gas density and hydrostatic pressure gradients to ascend and descend. Hidro does the same but drives a generator through this motion. All these factors produce CONSTANT motion and make it possible to harness energy freely from the environment.

Since Mr. James Kwok is also Chinese, I paid special attention to his invention. The following are my findings:

1. He uses energy from air. The formulas used are:
Ein = Pin x Vin (1)
Eout = Pout x Vout (2)
Ein = Energy of Air brought into the system
Pin = Pressure of Air at Input
Vin = Volume of Air at Input
Eout = Energy of Air flowing out at Output
Pout = Pressure of Air at Output
Vout = Volume of Air at Output

2. Ein can be much greater than Eout. That explains where the energy comes from. Energy from Still Air is brought-in from the environment. So long as there is air flowing in and out of the system, the system must be an OPEN system. Energy will be flowing in and out with the flowing air. Thus we cannot blindly apply the Law of Conservation of Energy.

3. The supplied energy is from the compressed air at the bottom of the tower. Work is done to expel some of the water from the submarine type container. So long as the compressed air pressure is slightly above the pressure of the water column at that level, the water will be displaced. We can call this as Esupplied.

4. Most people made the mistake of assuming that Esupplied = Ein. They did not see the fact that air actually flows into the system and flows out from the system. Air itself is not a fuel but an energy carrier. Ein can be considered as the bring-in energy. It can be much greater than Eout. The difference can be used to do work (in addition to Esupplied).

5. Pin can be the minimum pressure of air at that water level. In the submarine type structure, that pressure can be much, much higher. The principle is similar to the water rocket. When a valve is opened, the compressed air will force the water out, generating a large thrust. The submarine container goes up both from the floatation and the thrust.

6. At the top of the water tower, all the air is allowed to escape. Water enters the container. The density will be greater than 1 and the submarine container will help the downward motion.

7. The Ein term can be engineered to be much greater than the Eout term. That is the magic behind the Kwok Hidro. Energy is constantly brought-in from air. The air escaping out from the top and on the way up will have much lower pressure and a little bit higher volume. The product will be less than that at the bottom. The extraction of energy from air can be verified by a colder air temperature at the top.

8. The theory is now explained. There is no violating of the Law of Conservation Energy. Air carries its energy in and out of the Hidro device. That energy from Still Air is used. That energy is virtually inexhaustible on the surface of the earth. Thus the Hidro can self-run and generate extra electrical energy from the bring-in energy of air.

9. Mr. James Kwok is brilliant in producing the mechanical and control mechanisms to turn the theory into a workable system. I salute him on his excellent achievement. With the bring-in energy theory behind, his invention will pass all academic scrutiny.

10. Theoretically, it is not the best in terms of footprint, cost of construction and ease of transport. But if it is the first to be deployed in the Market, it will have its place in History. The steam engine is not the most efficient or the best, but it earned its place in history.

God sends HIS angels. I am glad that this angel is Chinese. That will inspire many more Chinese Inventors. The Dragon from the East will rise. Is that a verse from the Bible? Amen

Correct. I treat it as Divine. You are free to treat it as something else. But please do not give the credit to me.

Any one is free to improve and produce Products based on the Divine Revelation. There are no patent restrictions on multiple LCR resonance bringing-in electron motion energy. The information is now in the Public Domain and "complete coverage patenting" is no longer possible.

He is effectively firing a torpedo! That force is much higher than what step 1 can possibly provide.

3. Most people (even scientists) may mistakenly think that the energy supplied to compress the air is the total Input Energy. They are mistaken. Air is not a fuel but an Energy Carrier. The total Input Energy should be the sum of the Epump + Eair. Epump is the energy supplied. Ein is the Energy carried into the submarine container by air.

4. For a 100% efficient system Eout should be equal to Epump +Ein. Ein is FREE. It is the bring-in air energy. It is the energy freely from the environment More servers are coming. Amen.

From what I got off their site James Kwok is working in Australia and got his Degree there but I fail to see what his nationality has to do with anything?

Please work out the physics and mathematics behind equations (1) and (2) in Point 1. You may be making the same mistake as most people in Point 4.

When air flows in and out of an OPEN system, one cannot blindly apply the Law of Conservation of Energy. One MUST consider the difference between energy carried in by air and the energy carried out by air.

Suppose the invention use buoyancy by letting water fill up the cylinder at the surface and pump air into the piston side when it reached the bottom.
Let us simplify the case to which no work can be extract from the cylinder on the way upward (surfacing). Meaning it has barely enough buoyancy to surface.
The energy extract from the device going down thereby proportional to the water height H.
The energy needed to pump the water out is also the amount H. Such case cannot extract useful work.

Let us consider the two scenarios.

The top drawing shows air pumping into the cylinder. The energy used is H. As it surface, the cylinder expands which provide a greater surfacing force. Energy can be extracted from buoyancy. Air pressure is lost in the process.

The bottom drawing shows air pumping into the cylinder. The energy used is H. Since now we have a stopper, it is a constant volume through out. This time we cannot extract energy from buoyancy, but at the surface, we can extract the air pressure to recover energy.

The bottom line is, we can either utilize or recover input energy.

It looks like some folks on the Internet never learned the fact that:

Air is not a fuel but an energy carrier. It can carry energy into Eair_in a system and it can carry energy out Eair_out from the same system. If Eair_in is greater than Eair_out, that difference in energy can be used by the system.Cooling implies that energy in the system (air) has been converted to other forms. It will require heat energy from the surrounding to replenish it. A true scientist should always have an open mind and open eyes. When he sees something that seems to contradict his knowledge, he should seriously investigate. Dismissing the new discovery automatically as hoax or unscientific is NOT the attitude of the true scientist.
