help with Bedini circuits

I have built 3 Bedini circuits but can not get them to actually charge a battery much. They all oscillate, I can hear it from the coil, but they never seem to charge the battery. They can charge a capacitor 250+ volts but not a battery, I'm using battery's from a PSU. Any help would be appreciated!

So it sounds like you're wanting them to self-oscillate and not run them with a wheel - is that correct?

If you can post your circuit specs, that will help. And PSU batter - is that 12v 7ah?

Yes, they self oscillate, no wheel. I'll have to check the batteries when I get home, but I think they are 13 volts each. When I get home I'll post schematics along with some battery details.
