Been there on the fumes.
Set up a simple dryer vent evac system.
Place 1 end by your work and the other to a window set to hold it temporarily.
Set up a pc fan to suck it our or some small fan that will handle it.

Spiral lash wrap Rodin coil.

I wraped a spiral coil last night with 75 feet of 2 conductor (bifilar) 24 gauge Radio Shack speaker wire. The coil works at least as good as any of Marco Rodin's. I started with 3 or 4 loops around a Tinker Toy can, then I began to loop the spool through the core and spiral wrap it lash style, till the end met the start wire position. I report on the coil's performance over at the "No bearing Bedini thread". I'm very certain at this point that Maro Rodin's "Sacred Geometry" is a bunch of malarky!

@Update,

Just straightened the bearing and set a new speed record of 24.5K r.p.m.'s !

Dropa stones.

Take a look at this Dropa stone! One can clearly make out the Starship Coil in the center, and the spiral magnetic flux pattern "Twinbeard" demonstrates in his latest "No bearing Bedini thread" video.

Dropa stones are from Tibet, not Peru.

the carvings or whatever they are.....look a little "fake" to me....a bit too good to be true....the alien with the big head.....the ufo.etc etc..looks a bit...."staged"

Dropa stone.

This stone has been labeled a hoax. Enter "Dropa Stones" in the google search engine and you'll see pictures of the stones. I followed 369Hexcoil's pointer, and turned this up to have a little fun with Marco too, after alleging my lash wrap style torus works as good as Marco's geometrical ones.

Very nice wind anyway; but how much do you feel a "Sacred Geometry" wrap would improve the performance of a spool winding?

on my new coil ( randy powel rodin )...

there are 12 windings....6 A windings.....6 B windings..

using only the A windings for now...
each of the 6 A windings measures around 0.5 ohms.

i have soldered and wired them all with the same length wires....connecting alll 6 windings in series....i measure resistance of around 1.1 ohms

0.5 +0.5 +0.5 +0.5 +0.5 +0.5(in series) = 1.1 !?!?!?!?

ok, ive double -triple checked the resistance of each winding...... 0.4 - 0.5 ohms.

when measured in series, all 6 of them......1.1 ohms

That's pretty interesting alright! Beautiful coil, very nice work. Do you have an inductance meter? I don't, but I think it could be useful.

Is this totally unique to this coil, or would adjacent, straight wires (or old style rodin coils for that matter) exhibit similar "drafting"? I'm thinking of a group of cyclists, hiding behind each other, going faster as a whole than one by itself could ever wish to go. Sharing the resistance, in this case, of the current path being cut and subsequent field created.

EDIT:
furthermore it would be interesting to learn resistance of 6 winds out, and one back. 5 out, 2 back, etc your get the idea. To more understand the effect on resist from any shear.
